Battle Creek Fishing
Private waters fishing on about a mile of the North Fork of Battle Creek. Small native trout can be found in a place nearly untouched by people for more than 100 years. Wading, a bit of bushwacking, and skilled angling required.
-
Hiking, Running and Biking Trails
Enjoy 4+ miles on our private trail system designed and built by the same team that created Downieville and many of the trails on Donner Summit. These are some of the best, most beautiful trails in the North State.
-
The Game Hall
All guests are welcome to use our Game Hall, ready for you to enjoy friendly competition with pool, darts, poker and more. Features a full bathroom and sink, fridge and microwave for extra space when with the family.
-
Stocked Trout Pond
Our 2 acre pond is stocked twice a year with 1-2 pound Mt. Lassen trout. They’re hungry, and they give a good fight, especially if they’re hiding in the weeds. Fly and bobber fishing work to catch these fish.
-
On the Water
Hop into the rowboat to catch some fish, paddle around in a kayak, or try out the paddleboard while bird watching. Our pond is just big enough to offer several water based activities.
-
Animal Enchantment
This is a working ranch, which means wildlife is everywhere. Enjoy watching our brush-clearing goats, spot osprey hunting for fish, listen to the calls of wild birds, and get up-close photos of families of deer feasting in the meadow.
-
Lawn and Board Games
Rain or shine, we’ve got games for everyone to stay entertained. Challenge your family to a game of Giant Jenga or Connect-4. Enjoy books and puzzles galore. Get competitive with a cornhole tournament!
