Dixie Fire

Almost a million acres. More than one percent of the entire land mass of California. Burned.

This is just a part of the seasons of California now. We remove the brush. We keep a perimeter. We hope and pray that the winds don’t bring a fire our way.

Who knows what the future will bring. Almost 20% of California land has burned in the last few years. For all of the talk about forest management, we have plenty of underbrush burned out now. Perhaps we will get a break in the next ten years or more.
