Lower Sacramento Trout

One of the great things about the Ranch is the proximity to all sorts of outdoor recreation opportunities. High on the list is the area fishing. Over the weekend, we hosted some friends and called on The Fly Shop in Redding for a guided trip on the Lower Sacramento. We did a half day trip, which amounted to about five hours of fishing on a seven mile stretch from Redding to Anderson. It was a beautiful day. The fish were biting, and a few even stayed on the line.
